Hi there, this is just a quick post to show you what my friend Amanda from The Patchsmith made!!
She used my High Seas Pattern (below) and totally “patchworked” the anchor using a variety of blues. I love that option and she jazzed it up with cord and a button. Isn’t that cute? Love it!
You can even make a separate block of each to decorate a swashbuckling boy’s room.
This quilt was made by Abi from Scraps of Life blog, thanks for testing Abi!
This one is from Susie over at Susie’s Sunroom. Thanks Susie!
This pattern is so fun. I just love to see how everyone’s turned out. You can purchase it over on Craftsy. The special price runs until the first day of Fall.
I am so excited to already be up to 4 finished quilt patterns. (Yay for me!) That’s why I haven’t been around blog land much the last few weeks, I hope you’ll pardon my absence.
This is my first one called High Seas, for sale over on Craftsy. Aaargh! It’s so simple, you can tackle it in an evening with its easy to follow diagrams.
Susie and Kristen were good sports to test that out for me and give my some great feedback. Thanks ladies! Check out Susie’s version below.
So far, my patterns are geared to the confident beginner. They are easy and fast to put together. In addition, they are fat quarter friendly, fun, whimsical and great for stash busting too! So far the themes are perfect for summer: sunny, nautical and very vacation-y.
I have three more patterns ready to go but I need a few awesome quilters such as yourselves, to test the patterns and make sure they are good to go. If you are interested in testing any of them please leave a comment or send me an email and I’d be glad to send you the details.
The pending quilts include, ducks, fish and a mermaid!
