Here are some reasons why I love this project:
- It has a start and stop time.
- It’s 3 times a year so it’s something I can look forward to.
- It’s an opportunity to be creative daily.
- It’s fairly quick to whip up a list, so I can keep up (usually)
- It helps you track what’s going on in your life “right now.”
- Prompts are different each time.
- It’s a wonderful community of listers that I am very fond of.
- It’s portable and I can take it with me on vacation (and I have!)
- Did I mention you can be as creative (or not) as you like and it’s an excuse to buy crafty, listing goodies from I love it all shop. 😉
For the March challenge this year (It starts tomorrow, have you signed up yet? Do so HERE.) I am doing it this way. I had this little journal from Monika’s shop and just added some washi tape and circle tags to the front. The design on the butterfly sort of matches the washi. Perk!
When you register for 30 days of lists, you get a registration packet email that gives you access to the private blog where people share the different ways they are listing this month. You also have the option to sign up for a daily email with the prompt, which I have done in the past. I discovered, however, that I prefer to have the entire list on hand and not have to access Social Media or email every time I sit down to list. So I started doing a little pocket on the front cover of my book to house the entire list. And I am happy to say that I am very disciplined at only looking at “that day’s” list.
In addition, the 30 days of lists private blog, also gives you access to printables that include a complete lists of all the prompts for this challenge in various formats plus some fun printables from affiliates. See below.
These printables are from Monika and I love it all shop, but you have to register to be able to print them. I love yellow! So this round, I am going against my own grain and using a more uniform approach to my listing by using her freebie journaling card and extras for most of my lists. I am also using the December lists printables to add pop or make certain lists stand out.
I also totally flipped over the printables offered by Allie Scraps, also available when you register. I just love the design and color elements in these. I printed them on beige cardstock and they look sort of vintage now which is so cool! I want to incorporate some of these into my lists, they are so fun! But I also filed some for future projects. Remember to always save the download file to access them later if you really loved them.
