I am so excited to already be up to 4 finished quilt patterns. (Yay for me!) That’s why I haven’t been around blog land much the last few weeks, I hope you’ll pardon my absence.
This is my first one called High Seas, for sale over on Craftsy. Aaargh! It’s so simple, you can tackle it in an evening with its easy to follow diagrams.
Susie and Kristen were good sports to test that out for me and give my some great feedback. Thanks ladies! Check out Susie’s version below.
So far, my patterns are geared to the confident beginner. They are easy and fast to put together. In addition, they are fat quarter friendly, fun, whimsical and great for stash busting too! So far the themes are perfect for summer: sunny, nautical and very vacation-y.
I have three more patterns ready to go but I need a few awesome quilters such as yourselves, to test the patterns and make sure they are good to go. If you are interested in testing any of them please leave a comment or send me an email and I’d be glad to send you the details.
The pending quilts include, ducks, fish and a mermaid!

Hello! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and say I
really enjoy reading through your blog posts. Can you recommend any other blogs/websites/forums that go over the same subjects?
Thanks a ton!

I’d love to be a pattern tester. I am a beginner who loves to try new patterns. I just made my first quilt in a mystery quilt group. We received different stages of the quilt over a 3 month time period. It was challenging and fun . I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
I’d love to be a pattern tester…
Hi Elaine, I’d love to test for you. I’m actually a bag tester for several independent bag designers but love to quilt. I’ve only ever tested one quilt which you can see here https://miacreates.blogspot.com/2014/07/my-watkins-star-test-quilt.html. It was great fun. I’ve got lots to learn still and your test quilts sound fun.
